Malaysia Airlines Resumes Flights to London After Heathrow Disruption

KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 – Malaysia Airlines has resumed its flight operations to and from London’s Heathrow Airport today, following a temporary suspension caused by a power outage at the airport last week.

In an update shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the airline confirmed that two key routes have returned to normal service: flight MH4 from Kuala Lumpur to London Heathrow, and flight MH1 from Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur.

Passengers are advised to update their contact details via the ‘My Booking’ section on the Malaysia Airlines website or mobile app to receive real-time alerts and travel notifications.

Operations at Heathrow were disrupted on Friday due to a fire at a nearby power station, which led to a major electricity outage at the airport. According to reports, more than 1,300 flights were affected, including four operated by Malaysia Airlines, with some being diverted or forced to return to their point of origin.

The airline is continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary to ensure smooth travel for its passengers.
