Huawei Cloud Launches Six Collaborative Initiatives to Empower Chinese Enterprises Expanding into the Asia-Pacific Market

CHONGQING, China, March 30, 2025 – Huawei Cloud hosted the Asia-Pacific Forum at the Go-Global Summit held at the Chongqing Shancheng International Conference Center on March 25, 2025. The event gathered approximately 200 industry leaders from entertainment, social media, gaming, digital finance, retail, logistics, e-commerce, and Web 3.0 sectors. Speakers provided insights into global market trends and success stories of Chinese companies thriving in the Asia-Pacific region. The event highlighted Huawei Cloud’s dedication to collaborative innovation with its clients and partners in this dynamic market.

Jacqueline Shi, President of Global Marketing and Sales Service at Huawei Cloud, outlined the company’s significant achievements and growth in the Asia-Pacific region, noting it as Huawei Cloud’s largest market outside mainland China. Singapore, Hong Kong (China), and Thailand have consistently ranked as Huawei Cloud’s top revenue-generating markets. Jacqueline emphasized that businesses aiming for sustainable growth in the region must prioritize cost efficiency and adapt effectively to local market demands to build trust among customers and partners.

Shang Haifeng, President of Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific, highlighted the strong cultural, linguistic, demographic, and economic ties between China and the Asia-Pacific, which have driven Huawei Cloud’s remarkable 30-fold growth in the past five years. Huawei Cloud has become the fastest-growing cloud service provider in the region.

At the forum, Huawei Cloud introduced six collaborative initiatives to support enterprises expanding into the Asia-Pacific:

Shang also introduced the “Asia-Pacific Acceleration Program,” committing US$10 million to offer targeted support through strategic consultations, solution development, marketing collaboration, cloud migration assistance, business expansion support, and industry networking. This initiative aims to facilitate Chinese companies’ integration into Huawei Cloud’s Asia-Pacific partnership ecosystem, assisting them in overcoming global expansion complexities.
