Afghan Gov’t Signs MoU With Aid Agency To Assist Displaced Families

KABUL, Jun 1 (NNN-BNA) – The Afghan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a leading aid agency, to assist thousands of displaced families, the ministry said in a statement, yesterday.

The aid exceeds 857,000 U.S. dollars, and will benefit 5,148 displaced families, the statement said.

The agency will provide educational facilities, distribute equipment and provide job opportunities to the families.

The Afghan interim government has called on local and international organisations, to invest in the country, to address its economic hardship and create jobs.
